🎮 How to Play
Corn kernels heat up on a grid. When they glow gold, tap them to pop and score points! Miss the timing and they burn, blocking that cell. Chain consecutive pops to build your combo multiplier up to ×10.
🧈 Butter Burst
Every 8 successful pops, you earn a Butter Burst charge. Tap the Butter button, then select a row to wipe it clean. Careful though — it clears everything in that row, not just burnt kernels.
⏱️ Game Modes
- Easy (4×4) — wider pop window, fewer kernels. Great for warming up.
- Medium (5×5) — tighter timing, more chaos. The full experience.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
My combo keeps resetting. Why?
Your combo resets when you tap a kernel that’s still heating up (not glowing gold yet). Wait for the golden glow before tapping. Burnt kernels don’t reset your combo — only mistimed taps do.
How do I earn Butter Burst charges?
You earn 1 charge every 8 successful pops. You can hold up to 3 charges at a time. The progress counter below the Butter button shows how many pops until your next charge.
Can I transfer my high scores to a new device?
High scores are currently stored locally on your device. Cloud sync and Game Center leaderboards are coming in a future update.
The game feels too fast / too slow.
Try switching between Easy (4×4) and Medium (5×5) modes — Easy has a wider timing window and fewer kernels to manage. More difficulty modes are planned for future updates.
